FLVTO Not Working?
Start with the universal checks, then the specific fix for your symptom.
Universal checks
- Open the video in YouTube. Private, deleted, age-restricted, or region-blocked videos cannot convert. If it does not play there, no converter can reach it.
- Check the link. It should be a complete youtube.com or youtu.be URL.
- Try incognito or private mode. This rules out extensions interfering.
- Pause aggressive ad blockers for this page, then retry.
- Refresh and retry once. Transient network hiccups happen.
Conversion starts but never finishes
Usually a very long video or a slow connection. Try a shorter video to confirm the tool works, then retry the long one.
Download will not start
- Check the download bar at the bottom (Chrome) or toolbar (Safari, Edge). The file may already be there.
- Chrome blocked it. Click the three dots on the blocked-download warning and choose Keep.
- Pop-up blockers can intercept the download. Allow pop-ups for this site.
MP3 will not play
The download may have been interrupted. Re-download, and check the file size: a file of only a few kilobytes is incomplete.
